Howard and Kathy Merrrell have served at Covington Bible Church since 1973.  Howard serves as Senior Pastor.  Kathy provides leadership in music and Women's ministries and serves in a variety of functions.

Both Merrells are graduates of Appalachian Bible College, Kathy with a diploma and Howard a ThB.  Howard also did work at Baptist Bible College of PA, and received a Masters in Religion from Liberty Seminary.
